While an army of cooks sorted out the sausages, others are left all on their own to deal with cooking pasta for about 160 people in very difficult conditions !

Anthony S said to me 'So why are you in this photo Carolyn? You have done nothing to help shop, prepare or cook all these sausages'!!!!! (Normal Welsh/English bickering). Very true thou - I am just a groupie who wanted to be seen around this army of sexy chefs! If it is any consolation to him, I never even got around to tasting one of those yummy sausages. Brownie points for his brother-in-law who replenished the low stocks of charcoal (English efficiency)otherwise it was an evening 'sans' sausages. And unlike the French - no bread - which was a pity. I would have preferred bread to pasta like a lot of the participants I spoke to as we didn't know how to handle the sausages - but all the helpers were for the pasta when I investigated afterwards - except Celine's dad who agreed with me. Will try and find more supporters here. And isn't it easier to give distribute bread?

Seen here the progress of 'Point Plage' (not much!) plus a pic of some faithful English tourists that use that beach and who have just arrived and are unloading their sailing gear for summer and infront of them you can see the newly painted dinghy belonging to JL who I see has copied Patrick in his choice of paint colour - he will now be known as the 'Yellow Peril'. At least he will be seen at sea when he capsizes!

Fantastic results for our young sailors - first of all - Marine was 3rd in a 'Europe' race in Cannes and first girl to finish. Bravo! Marin finished 6th in the 'Inter league' in Hyeres and yesterday in a criterium in St Raphael Alban came 3rd and Antoine 4th.

On Saturday Loic is organising a BBQ at the club house for everybody interested.
